running, Yellowstone Yellowstone Pictures June 20, 2016 thelifewelllived@gmail.com Click on any of the pictures for the larger version. This view was on a magnet or postcard at all of the gift shops. This photo on the last day shows just how lucky we were the rest of the trip to have such clear weather. Opalescence pool is beautiful…like so many of the sights we saw. The Sapphire Pool was gorgeous. This one small, random very blue bird flew to this very grey tree. I kept looking at this thinking it belonged in a Game of Thrones set. It would be too easy to step off a path and get burned as your feet went through the thin crust into boiling water. Thank you T for showing me around. I would never have seen as much without you. Green Dragon Spring. The Grand Prismatic Spring lived up to its name. I love the different colors of life around this hot spring as the water cools away from the center. Castle Geyser just keeps going and going for 25 min. We saw it before and after Old Faithful. I thought about it while running. Castle Geyser was one of my favorites. It just kept going and going…for 25min. The views in the morning were well worth waking up to see. I think there is a law that requires taking pictures of rainbows when visiting a waterfall. Required shot of beautiful waterfall. Same waterfall taken from other side of the river Have to have a picture of a bison, especially after a 2.5 hour bison jam while a herd crossed the road. This is one of my favorite shots of the trip for the reflection in the water and the tree under the surface. Grand Tetons on the first morning we were there. Grand Tetons…when I heard this meant big tits, I instantly thought of total recall and the three breasted lady. Earning this felt like an accomplishment. For pictures of me on the run (yikes, do not like pictures of me much) Fall twice…get up twice. This is right at the end. I think I can. I think I can. She definitely had more energy than I did. Pooring water over my head at every water stop is not cooling me off at this point. This is right after we went up hill for miles 6.6 to 7. Not only did I think I could, I did! Woohoo! Almost there…stay on target. Right at mile 11 after I fell twice. You can se trail is only 3 people wide, and this is one of the better stretches coming down.
